I’m the anon that asked about there being any ESFJ men. I just wanted to say that my comment was really not meant to be a snide remark aimed at you or anyone for that matter I was just trying to say that I find it funny that all the ESFJs you’ve typed this week are female. It was 100% meant to be a friendly little comment and I’m sorry if it came off as sarcastic or bitchy. I said “no offense” to show that my comment was actually 100% inoffensive. Sorry :) I really love your blog btw

It’s okay, I kind of figured, but thanks for clarifying.  It’s just hard to know how you’re coming across, sometimes and equally hard interpreting from the other end.

No offense but, are there any ESFJ men? Lol

Ok, I think I have mentioned this before in another post: adding “no offense but” to what would otherwise be an innocuous question fries my brain while I wonder whether or not you meant to offend me but don’t want to be blamed for it – like, does it then follow that if you meant to be offensive, this is actually some sort of snide personal commentary aimed at my ability/desire to identify ESFJ men? And should I then be offended by this hypothetical slight? 

(No!  Omg, this is ridiculous.  What a weird and specific thing to have to care about.)

I honestly doubt this was your intent. I just ask you to spare me (and others) in the future.  Please leave off the disclaimers, particularly while in text or through anonymous comments since it’s impossible to pick up your tone to tell what you mean by them, and I have plenty of time to overthink.

To answer your question: are there ESFJ men?

Yes, clearly.

Are there ESFJ men in my queue?

Yes, there are.

What is happening with the blog lately, which I guess is unclear, is that I’m trying to get through some of my 1400+ asks, by typing as many people as quickly as possible.  This means, I am:

1. typing people y’all are asking about (I can assure
you that most of my ESFJ asks are for women – want more ESFJ men?  Ask for more ESFJ men)

and

2. typing people who are easy.  If you’ll notice, most of the ESFJs in the tag already are women – which makes it easier to identify… more women.  Go figure.

Portman seems more like an ISTJ to me. If you look at her younger days, you’ll see that she’s always been really analytical and doesn’t have that spur of the moment emotion you get from others. Plus, she’s pretty darn adamant about what she wants in life. She once said “I’d rather be smart than a movie star”. Doesn’t sound like an ISFP to me.

These came to me together, so I’m assuming this is the same asker.  In any case, my response is the same: cast off your toxic mbti stereotypes and be free!

Maybe look at some cute puppies, instead.
