OK I can see it. Made my way further down the INTP list, looking up the women only and now having seen Klaire de lys I can see INTP for Rooney. Rooney’s earlier interviews (way before Dragon Tattoo period when she has longer hair and softer look) are much more reminiscent of Ellen Page. I’m convinced of INTP over ISTP! Thanks xx

What pushed Rooney Mara to INTP instead of ISTP? Watching vids now. She’s more like Noomi Rapace than Ellen Page. Where do you see the NT in Rooney?

I guess with Fe users, the S types project a whole lot more Fe than their N type counterparts. Rooney’s Fe is pretty subdued, to the point where I thought she probably had Fi, and with the interest in fashion and not a lot of INTP women typed, I kind didn’t have much to compare her to. I basically left her in ISFP until something better came up.
The person she actually reminds me of (facially and voice-wise, sometimes) is Elizabeth Olsen. Which is kind of weird, since Rooney is clearly not an E or an F.
There’s also casting her across Daniel Craig… I haven’t come across romantic interests that were the same type in a movie yet.

I agree that he has strong Fe. But I’m also pretty sure he’s a P, not a J.

Possible ISTP, maybe, but I’d have to check again. I remember her being kind of confusing.

Possible… Summer Glau was reminding me a lot of him while I typed her and I didhave him as an ISFP to start.
