On last night’s show, Stephen Colbert took the official MBTI and was typed as an INFP. Why do you believe he is an ENTP?

Will someone please fix the test, already, so that some of the extraverts actually test as extraverted?

ETA:

Okay, I am watching the video:

0:30 – ā€œlosing the character leaves one frightening existential questionā€¦ā€Ā  ENTP buzzword.

2:43 – ā€œI’m the type of person who’d hire a camera crew to find out.ā€ Making public what INFPs typically want to find out on their own.Ā  We don’t tend to treat personal discovery as a joke; Fi is not that funny.

5:08 – ā€œI’m an extravert in the streets, but an introvert in the sheets.ā€ ENs typically like and need downtime, but also need to be around people.Ā

5:28 – ā€œIs he getting an idea, or is he thinking about a lightbulb?ā€Ā  And there’s the Ne coming up with possibilities.

6:28 – ā€œWhy aren’t I famous?Ā  In my nightmare situation, have I been cancelled?ā€ The introverted answer is, oh thank goodness, people don’t know me!

6:26 – ā€œI would introduce myself.ā€Ā  The extraverted answer.

Keeps trying to lead the conversation (although she’s an ExTJ and doesn’t really let him).Ā

Very quick at coming up with jokes that go in every which direction possible.Ā  (EN)

Deadpan – isn’t laughing at his own jokes.Ā  Not an F type.

I sent you about four asks (yes, I am trash) a few weeks ago. Did Tumblr eat them or are you just ignoring them? (I am not offended or bitter or whatever, I just want to know if I have to send them again c:)

For those of you who are interested in this kind of thing:

Four asks would not have been a lot when I started doing this, but there are a way more of you than me, now.Ā  At the moment, I have 500 unanswered asks spread out between my inbox and drafts (which I use as a second inbox, but with pictures attached), 200 of which were sent in the last two months.Ā  That is a significant uptick in the speed at which I’m being sent requests.

And yes, I do weed out duplicate asks as they come in, so 500 does actually represent 500+ distinct people to be typed.

I’m not specifically ignoring anyone.Ā  I just can’t keep up with the pace.

On the other hand, tumblr has been eating things lately, so it’s possible I’m not getting everything you send me.

*braces for influx of duplicate asks*
