Your silence in the face of my desperate pleas has driven home a clear message — it is you who have the power in this exchange… If I could embed links in this question, I would send a picture of my broken heart. I beg of you, one last time, before I leave you to your peace and quiet — Danny Pudi? Either way, I leave it now in the hands of yourself and the fates, and shall take a vow of silence on the matter. Best to you, my friend.

I’m an ESTP and my best friend is an ENFP. I love her to death but one thing that annoys me the fuck out of me about her is how much she loves cliché Pinterest quotes and how she’ll mention them in every single advice she gives me even when I don’t ask. For some reason I feel like is has to do with our personality types. Is there any correlation or is it just a coincidence?

I have no pinterest-loving (or inspirational quoting) ENFP friends so I have… no idea whatsoever.

A lot of NTP types lately, which for me begs the question what exactly is intuition as a function? Sensing, feeling and thinking are primarily organic based, what is intuition based off? Some abstraction of thought? Inbuilt pattern recognition or survival instinct? How can intuition ever be above thinking in any function order?

Tumblr’s been cutting all but the last part of multi-part asks lately (what’s up with that?), but I’m not exactly the best person to define intuition for you or how it works.  I know someone’s got a good post to reference.  Anyone want to help this anon out?
